Vases replace numbers and the board fills more slowly than in standard 2048. The result is a merge puzzle you can play without the low-level tension the original runs on.

Whether that is an improvement depends on what you want. The strategic depth is reduced — with less spawn pressure, poor moves rarely punish you — but as something to do while thinking about something else, the relaxed pacing is the point.

Still worth playing properly. Keeping your largest vases grouped in one region works here exactly as it does everywhere else, and doing so turns a long game into a short one.
