Logic Puzzles

The Hardest Puzzle Ever

A collection of lateral-thinking puzzles that refuse to work the obvious way. Short, awkward, and satisfying when they finally give.

The name is a boast it does not quite earn, but the puzzles are genuinely awkward in a good way. Each level presents a small scene and a goal, and the obvious interaction is almost never the right one.

These are lateral-thinking puzzles rather than logic grids. Progress comes from trying the thing that seems slightly absurd — dragging something off-screen, using an object out of order, ignoring the instruction you were given.

A warning worth having: it is designed to make you feel stuck, and being stuck is the intended experience, not a sign you have missed something. If a level resists for more than a minute, the answer is usually that you are respecting a rule the game never actually stated.

Nothing like Magic Sort mechanically. Included because it exercises the same willingness to stop and think instead of moving.
